Library Lockers at Beardsley Branch
Bridgeport Public Library Lockers are here for easy contactless hold pick up 24/7. Can’t make it to any of our library locations to pick up your holds during regular business hours? Send your items to our new Pickup Locker, situated at the Beardsley Branch and access your materials at your convenience!
The locker is situated in the back of the Beardsley Branch Library (by the driveway), located at 2536 East Main street, Bridgeport, CT.
Locker Instructions:
1. Find an item (book, DVD, etc.) in the library catalog to check out. Select “Place Hold.”
2. On the Place Hold screen select the pickup location: “Pickup Locker-Beardsley Branch-Bridgeport.” Click “Submit” your hold request. (To use the lockers, this location must be selected when you place items on hold. When placing items on hold over the phone, please alert library staff if you’d like to pick them up in the locker.
3. We will email you and/or send you a text message when your holds are ready. The six digit access code will be sent to you as well so you can retrieve your materials.
Please note: Items on hold will remain in the locker for 5 days and will be already checked out to the patron’s account. If a patron does not pick their hold during the 5-day window time, the item will be removed from the locker and send to its original library location.
