Free Trees for Kids

We are excited to be participating in Neighborhood Forests Free Tree Program this year and have received tree requests from many Bridgeport families. The trees will be delivered to Beardsley Branch Library during Earth Week (April 22-26) and the specific date will be announced in April. Our librarians will call you or email you when the trees are ready for pickup. Please all us at 203-332-0025 if you have any questions.

Dear Parent or Guardian,

We are celebrating Earth Day this spring by participating in the 15th Annual Neighborhood Forest Free Tree Program, whose aim is to provide free trees to kids every Earth Day. Since 2010, Neighborhood Forest has reached over 100,000 families and planted over 50,000 (mostly urban and residential) trees through the hands of children and parents across North America. We endorse this project and are excited to be participating in this wonderful program that teaches kids stewardship through the magic and wonder of planting and watching trees grow.

Thank you for your support and participation. For more information about this program please visit
