BHC Presents: When the Aztec Eagle Soared Over Bridgeport with Abraham Lima

Saturday, September 7
2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, we are delighted to host grassroots historian Abraham Lima for a special presentation on Mexican immigration and heritage in Bridgeport. Join us September 7, 2pm at the Burroughs-Saden Library!

Abraham Lima is freelance hobbyist writer for the Bridgeport History Center. Born and raised in Bridgeport, his parents are Mexican immigrants from the state of Puebela. His interests include maps (since age 4) and from there technology, various types of history, linguistics, and more.  One goal of his is to write a series on the histories of the newer ethnic communities and populations that make up modern day Bridgeport and the city’s long term population and physical changes.
