Happy September, library friends! The weather is getting cooler, school is back in session, and it’s Library Card Sign-Up Month! 🎉

Come cuddle, giggle, and make some adorable hoofprint art to take home! 🎨🐐Plus, play Pirate Bingo and win prizes! Bring your friends and family and celebrate September at the library. Goats at the Library!
Saturday, September 12th at 11:30am-1:30pm.
Get ready for an udderly adorable Library Card Sign-Up Month adventure! Ten adorable goats and two precious newborns are coming to the library for a morning of cuddles, giggles, and hands-on fun. Patrons will have the opportunity to snuggle with, dress up, groom, take a selfie and even hold the baby goat. Then make one-of-a- kind keepsake with our baby goat hoofprint art project. Ages:0-12 (All ages are welcome!)

Museum Passes
Get free or discounted admission to selected museums and cultural sites, with your Connecticut Public Library card! Passes are available on a first come first served basis at children’s circulation desks of all of our five locations. Passes circulate for 3 days. We recommend contacting your branch first for availability. A fine of $5 per day is charged if passes are returned late. Please note: the 3-day loan period does not apply to Westport Country Playhouse passes (they do not require returns).

Check out our August Children’s Room Calendar and save the dates a for a month full of fun! Join us for our Garden Storytime, Toy Library Launch, and treats on Thursday, August 13th. We will have our Education & Literacy Event on Saturday, August 15th. And don’t forget – Thursday, August 28th is the last day to turn in your Summer Reading Log and collect your summer reading prizes!

Readers of all ages—kids, teens, and adults—are invited to plant a seed for a lifelong love of reading. Summer Reading runs from June 22nd – August 28th. Sign up, track your reading, and enjoy fun rewards along the way! Stop by the library to get started & while you’re there, be sure to attend one (or more) of our terrific programs!
Bridgeport Public Library is Fine Free!
Stop by at any of our locations to return overdue Bridgeport library materials and all late fines and fees will be removed from your account.
