Book characters "come alive" in a display at the Bridgeport Public Library

Black and white photograph showing a group of "Come Alive" characters along with their books. To build interest in the children's books in the library, librarians at a branch [possibly the South Branch] had children make the characters for the display. About 25 books were represented. The display resulted in a significant increase in interest in those books by the children.
