Title:
Inside the Burroughs library building at 925 Broad Street
Description:
Color photograph showing the first floor, south wing of the Burroughs library at 925 Broad Street. At the time that this photograph was taken, this area of the library was being used as the Children's Department. The room at the front of the photograph is a raised area often used for programs just off the large east-west oriented wing that comprises the department. A set of doors that opens out onto the sidewalk along the south side of the building and just adjacent to Broad Street, may be seen through the center archway. The beloved stuffed animal giraffe, Cecelia, may be seen through an archway to the right.
