Black and white photograph showing an original plaster model of Aesop presented to the Bridgeport Public Library in 1919 by the widow of the artist, Paul Winters Morris. The statue was on display in the Children's Room in the original Burroughs public library building at 965 Main Street. When the library moved to its new location at 925 Broad Street, the statue was taken to the Sanborn Branch for storage.
