An exterior view of the East Branch of the Bridgeport Public Library

Black and white photograph showing an exterior view of the East Branch of the Bridgeport Public Library. The branch opened in 1918 at 201 Jane Street; it closed in the 1980s. This appears to be an intermediate version of the building for two reasons. First, the signage says "East Bridgeport Public Library" which may have been its original name. However, in contrast to other "East Bridgeport" building photographs, this building's footprint matches that of other "East Branch" building photographs since it has the rearward extension.
