To help guide our users through genealogy research, we have a dedicated section to help explain what the Bridgeport History Center has and how we can help you start or continue your research.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/bportlibrary.org\/hc\/grassroots-historians\/\"><strong>Grassroots Historians<\/strong><\/a><br \/>\nThe Grassroots Historians program is a unique initiative run by the Bridgeport History Center. It hosts local historians, academics, and community members and frequent users of the collections, and invites them to write essays using material they\u2019ve viewed at the Center. Each writer presents an interpretation or point of view, while providing researchers with substantial information on a Bridgeport topic.
