Oral history interview with Beth Lazar

Long time Bridgeport resident and community activist Beth Lazar began interviewing some of her large number of friends and acquaintances starting the summer of 2022. She has become a regular volunteer for conducting interviews for the general, ongoing BHC oral history program. Lazar's interviewees represent a wide range of interests, professions, and come from varied walks of life.

Lazar has donated materials from her own activities as a community and peace activist, Housatonic Community College alumna, and member of congregation B'nai Israel to the BHC. She has also donated some materials from the many interviews she conducted when she had her own radio program as Lady Beth at Fairfield University's WFUV, Unity Groove.

In this interview, Lazar discusses her many interests and activities in the Bridgeport community as well as her family members and their accomplishments.
