Students and Teachers: Panel Discussion on the Bridgeport Cultural Arts Center

Saturday, November 3
11:00 am - 1:00 pm

The ABCD Cultural Arts Center was a creative and social hub of Bridgeport in the 1960s and ’70s. The Arts Center occupied a space at the intersection of visual arts and music, and politics and community activism. Join us as past students and teachers discuss their experiences at the Arts Center, how it impacted their lives and the importance of its role in the Greater Bridgeport community.

We Are Artists Everyone: the Art Center in Action, 1970-1986 will feature an exhibition and public programming that will tell the story of the Arts Center. Events start in November, so please check the BHC homepage or the Art Center Facebook Page for details.
