WE DIG CHESS! Beginner’s Class

6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Bridgeport residents between the ages of 14-18 (grades 9-12) are invited to master the fine game of chess.

Learn from Coach Shawn from DIG-USA who is well known in this area! You will need access to zoom AND to Chess.com, a free website for playing chess.
Beginner classes will be held on Tuesdays from 6:30-7:30 p.m. via zoom. Advanced classes will be held on Thursdays from 6:30-7:30 p.m. The series will run from July 13 through September 28th. There will be special lessons every Saturday morning from 10:30-11:30 and scrimmages on Sunday afternoons. Watch for more details and exact dates and times.
This program is funded through the Mayor’s Summer Program Initiative.
