Location: Newfield Branch Library – Children’s Room

Join us on Saturday, February 25th at 1pm to learn about freedom quilt symbols.  Slaves often used symbols in quilts to guide their way to the North for freedom.  Children will learn symbols of the Underground Railroad and create their own paper freedom quilt.  For children, ages 5-12 years old.  Program will be held in the Children’s Room of the Newfield Branch Library.
