The ABCD Cultural Arts Center was a creative and social hub of Bridgeport in the 1960s and ’70s. The Arts Center occupied a space at the intersection of visual arts and music, and politics and community activism. Thanks to a generous grant from the CT Humanities Council,
We Are Artists Everyone: the Art Center in Action, 1970-1986 will feature an exhibition and public programming that will tell the story of the Art Center. Events start in November, so please check the BHC homepage or the Art Center Facebook Page for details.
