“Dig Into Reading” All Summer Long!

Join us for summer-long fun by enrolling in the Library’s reading program.

Early readers join in on the fun!

  • Preschoolers who have books read to them may also participate.

Parents sign up your child online and log in the books you’ve read to your child. Incentives will be rewarded throughout the duration of the program.

In addition to Dig Into Reading prizes, the Bridgeport Public Library has once again partnered with the Bridgeport Bluefish. Children who read 10 books will receive a Bridgeport Bluefish free ticket voucher for the “Library Day Game” Sunday August 11 at 2:00 p.m.

Prior to game time all participants will be honored as a group on the Bluefish baseball field.
Children who read ten books will also receive a free ticket the opening Bridgeport Sound Tigers game.

Beginning July 10 all branches of the Bridgeport Public Library will host a variety of programs and activities. Magicians, storytellers, live animal shows, Blues Musician Dan Stevens, Kellogg Environmental Center are among the performers taking part.
