Please join us for the first of our weekly Tai Chi classes. These classes are designed for all ages and all fitness levels. Just wear loose fitting clothing, flat shoes and you’ll be good to go.
Jonathan Davis, a.k.a. Brother Yah-ya, is a certified Holistic Health counselor accredited by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners. Yah-ya has been a devotee and instructor in the practice of Tai Chi for over twenty years.
“Dare to Dream:” a 1-person show featuring David Mills that takes the audience on a journey through the most iconic moments of Dr. King’s public career his: “I Have a Dream,” speech “Letter from a Birmingham Jail;” “Early Days;” “Promised Land;” “Drum Major;” “If I had Sneezed” and “Dr. King’s eulogy.” )
These iconic moments are then peppered with insights into the private man.
This new club meets the second and fourth Thursday of each month from 6:30 to 7:30 PM at the Black Rock Branch of the Bridgeport Public Library.
